Therefore, it is not suggested for renal insufficiency patients to choose food like them. Additionally , patients should boil firstly then cook food to decrease phosphorus intake.
Fourth, salt intake should be decided by disease conditions. If patients have high blood pressure with edema, they are advisable to adopt low salt diet, namely 2 grams of salt per day!
Fifth, avoid using drugs which can damage kidneys, like Gentamicin, Sulfonamides, Penicillin and so forth.
Sixth, when patients also suffer diseases like hypertension, diabetes,etc , they need to prevent damage of other diseases outside kidney to kidneys.
Most importantly, the best treatment actually is to do early prevention well. Pathological damage and the process are the main factor of renal insufficiency damage, only stop renal fibrosis development timely, can patients protect kidneys well, then prevent uremia.
