Low sugar diets.
The diabetic and kidney disease patients are not able to take the food with high sugar so as to manage the blood glucose well. As a matter of fact, the uncontrolled high blood sugar is able to injure the blood vessels and lower the creatinine level. So that, sweetmeat, rice, fruits and so on are limited.
Low protein intake.
As all we know, the product of protein consumption will be removed from body by the kidneys. If the patients take too much protein, especially the plant protein, it can add the burden of kidney and worsen the kidney function. Hence, the patients would better not to take corn, bean and others. In fact, the patients can eat the food made from wheat starch, corn starch, potato starch and others as staple food.
Less salt and fat.
As the kidney can not work well as it should do, the patients can not eject excessive salt and fat from body in time. And thus, the retained salt and fat will enhance the blood pressure and injure the blood vessels. In which case, the kidney will gain more damage.
